Description: As part of a series of small objects and accessories, Vitra is bringing out an almost unknown design by Jean Prouve-his organically-shaped letter opener. The design takes up elements from Surrealist paintings of the day and its organic shape is reminiscent of the seat shell used ten years later by Charles and Ray Eames for their "La Chaise".
